It’s a dilemma that has dogged man since the beginning of time. Are we alone in the universe or are their other forms of life out there. Well at NASA, scientists are asking that very question. The are studying microbes that live at the bottom of volcanoes and in glaciers to try and figure out what types life might exist outside of this planet. While they have yet to find evidence of extraterrestrial life they have made many amazing discoveries. In fact, they’ve found that the microbes can be used to create a new generation of nano scale electronics such as data storage devices. Niall McKay reports from NASA’s Aims Research Laboratory in Silicon Valley.
