Over 120,000 people signed the #RepealTheSeal in protest to the Irish Government’s actions to seal the testimony of the victims of the Mother and Baby homes.

Repeal The Seal

The Ferry

Aoife searches for her birth mother and unveils a past that entangles two other women in town.

After given the shocking news that she was adopted, Aoife searches for her birth mother, but her pursuit of the truth unveils a past that entangles two other women in town.

The Ferry

is in competition for best short film at the Film Fest International World Cinema Antwerp. Played the Newport Beach Film Festival, Nominated for awards at the Foyle and the Dublin International Music and Shorts Festival.

We were also honoured to receive a special mention from the Jury at Galway Film Fleadh for “A well-executed and emotional resolution to an important story”Thank you and we are delighted to have been received so well.

The local busybody, Bertha, becomes deeply invested in helping Aoife, especially when a couple of breakins into the town’s birth records reveals someone else’s desperate search. When Clodagh, a stranger, comes into town asking questions, Bertha puts two and two together. Just as the three women search together for answers a surprising revelation is made.

The Ferry People balances bittersweet drama and mystery with heartfelt comedy as the three strong women confront their past and build new ties that help them move beyond a tragic history into a slowhealing future.
